Double bill of adventure films. 'Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief' (2010), based on the children's books by Rick Riordan, follows the adventures of 12-year-old New Yorker Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman). When Percy discovers that he is the descendant of a Greek god, he sets out on a cross-country adventure to settle an ongoing feud between the 'Big Three', Zeus (Sean Bean), Hades (Steve Coogan) and Poseidon (Kevin McKidd), and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves. 'Eragon' (2006), based on the best-selling novel by Christopher Paolini, follows the fortunes of an orphaned farm boy, Eragon (Edward Speleers), whose life is changed forever when a mystic stone chooses him for its keeper. When the stone turns out to be an egg from which a baby dragon is hatched, Eragon realises he has stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself. With only an ancient sword and the advice of an old storyteller (Jeremy Irons) for guidance, Eragon and the fledgling dragon (voiced by Rachel Weisz) must navigate the dangerous terrain of an Empire ruled by a king whose evil knows no bounds.

Comedy starring Uma Thurman. Rafi (Thurman) is a 37-year-old photographer who meets David (Bryan Greenberg), a 23-year-old painter fresh out of college. There's an instant attraction between them, but will the 14-year age gap prove insurmountable? And what about the demands of David's overbearing mother, Lisa (Meryl Streep), who also happens to be Rafi's therapist?

Bradley Cooper stars in this drama directed by John Wells as chef Adam Jones. The film follows Adam as he attempts to rebuild his life and career after a period of erratic, drug-fuelled, behaviour led to him losing his restaurant. Adam moves to London from New Orleans where his former maitre d' Tony (Daniel Brühl) reluctantly employs him as head chef at his fine-dining establishment. But to Adam this is only a stepping stone to his real dream - to open a restaurant of his own and achieve a three Michelin star rating.

Another Muppet adventure with Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Rizzo, Fozzy and Animal. The Muppets must go to the North Pole to personally deliver three letters to Santa after they accidentally stop them from being posted. Trying to reach Santa before he sets out on Christmas Eve to deliver presents, the hapless Muppets face a whole host of obstacles and problems. Whoopi Goldberg, Uma Thurman, Jane Krakowski and Tony Sirico also star.

Robert Pattinson and Uma Thurman star in this sumptuous Paris-set period drama based on the novella by Guy de Maupassant. Georges Duroy (Pattinson) is a suave and handsome young journalist using his wits and powers of manipulation to make his way in 1890s Paris. In order to ascend the social ladder, Duroy seduces a string of influential society beauties including Madeleine Forestier (Thurman), Virginie Walters (Kristen Scott Thomas) and Clotilde de Marelle (Christina Ricci). His peasant background has soon become a distant memory as he achieves dizzying success both in his career and in fashionable society.

In 'Batman Forever' (1995), former District Attorney Harvey Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones) is terrorising Gotham City, when a new villain appears on the scene - the Riddler (Jim Carrey). Together they plot to discover Batman's (Val Kilmer) identity, using a device which can probe the human mind. Meanwhile, the caped crusader has been joined by Robin (Chris O'Donnell), whose trapeze-artist family have recently been slain by Two-Face. 'Finally, in 'Batman and Robin' (1997), Batman (George Clooney) and Robin (O'Donnell) have to stop the vengeful Mr Freeze (Arnold Schwarzenegger) from taking over Gotham City by using his new ice weapon. To make matters worse, the venomous Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman) decides to join forces with Freeze, so making an almost undefeatable double-whammy of a team. Luckily for the caped crusader and his rebellious ward, they can team up with a new tough and courageous new partner - Batgirl (Alicia Silverstone).

Gabriele Muccino directs this romantic comedy starring Uma Thurman and Gerard Butler. Former professional footballer and incorrigible womaniser George (Gerard Butler) decides to redeem his wicked ways by becoming the coach of his young son's football team. Unfortunately, however, he quickly finds himself the object of lust for the mothers of the boys in the team, including the drop-dead gorgeous Patti (Thurman). Jessica Biel co-stars as George's long-suffering ex-wife.

Collection of crime-themed feature films and made-for-TV movies. In 'Kiss Daddy Goodnight' (1987) amoral thief Laura (Uma Thurman) adopts various disguises in order to fleece various middle-aged men out of their money. She teams up with musician Sid (Paul Dillon), an old acquaintance, when she learns that her upstairs neighbour, William, is the perfect victim. A poet, writer and connoisseur, William would seem ripe for the taking, except for the fact that Laura resembles his long-lost daughter, to whom he owes a murderous debt... In 'View of Terror' (2003) a successful businesswoman becomes the target of a stalker. Life is good for New York restaurant owner Celeste (Shannen Doherty). With a successful business, a great love-life, and a new uptown apartment with panoramic views, things are certainly on the up. But the good life turns sour when she becomes the victim of a stalker, responsible for sending her suspicious packages and making disturbing phone calls in the middle of the night. As the nightmare continues, Celeste begins to suspect everyone - especially one of her neighbours across the street, whose window looks into hers. 'Ruby's Dream' (1982) stars Joe Pesci as Ruby Dennis, the small-time owner of a bowling alley and nightclub in a working-class area of New Jersey, who dreams of making it big in the glitzy world of Las Vegas. In the pursuit of his dreams, however, he ends up losing a lot more than he gains, and comes to realise what is truly important in his life. In 'Shattered Silence' (1972) a woman is tormented by mysterious phone calls. When Helen Connelly (Elizabeth Ashley) starts receiving calls from her long-dead nephew, she's naturally a little on edge.
